ESC Gaming have defeated MaxFloPlay 2-0 (16-6 de_train_se, 16-7 de_inferno_se) in the EPS Poland Season 5 grand final to win their first EPS CS:GO title and 5,000 PLN. ESL Pro Series Poland's Season 5 finals took place today at the ESL studio in Tychy, Poland, where the best four teams from the regular season battled it out for the first place prize of 5,000 PLN and bragging rights. ESC Gaming were heavy favorites to win yet another EPS Poland title, but regular season loss against DELTA still had people wondering if DELTA, SYS-GAMING or MaxFloPlay could upset Filip "NEO" Kubski's squad. Semi-finals saw ESC take down DELTA easily 2-0 (16-7 de_mirage_csgo, 16-5 de_dust2_se) while MaxFloPlay defeated SYS-GAMING 2-1 (16-8 de_dust2_se, 5-16 de_nuke_se, 16-12 de_inferno_se) to set up the third place decider and grand final matchups. SYS-GAMING outlasted DELTA for the third place despite being on the verge of a 0-2 loss, with a final score of 2-1 (4-16 de_mirage_csgo, 16-14 de_inferno_se, 16-8 de_train_se) to win themselves 1,300 PLN (~$420). Grand final was anti-climatic as ESC Gaming proved themselves simply too strong for Poland once again, winning with a similar 2-0 score (16-6 de_train_se, 16-7 de_inferno_se) to clinch the EPS Poland championship and 5,000 PLN in prize money.
